The
artist has favoured porcelain in the making of these forms. The very delicate
quality of this type of clay adds greatly to the end product, as well as the
beautiful translucent appearance of the white material when hand moulded.
The beauty of the natural clay has been captured with simple glazing techniques,
again using oxides and a white crackled glaze. These works have been fired
to approximately 1200 C. Piece sizes range from 6 x 6 inches to 24 x 12 inches.
