Clare works in clay, on a part-time basis, and is steadily becoming well known for her sculpture. She also paints wild animals in water colour and acrylic.
The forms shown here are inspired by the movement of sea life, especially that of seaweed. The artist has attempted to capture the sequence of a single movement (see the brown/black and yellow/green forms), as well as portraying shell-like sculptural structure (see white/brown forms).
